Providers must be generally in good standing and have a valid medical license to provide care in the state in which the patient receives care. For virtual consults, this applies to the state where the patient is located. Physicians are needed with backgrounds in primary care, functional and integrative medicine, cardiology, and oncology. License requirements for dietitians vary, but in general, dietitians must have a valid license in the state where the patient is located if the applicable state requires one.
