How are providers paid?

Providers will be paid on a per-consultation basis with consults typically lasting 15-30 minutes. In some cases brief (5-10 minute) consults are needed to establish eligibility for specific tests and or to enter test orders. In the application process, consultation rates will be agreed upon.

Reimbursement will be limited to the specified expected time allocated for the consult type. For example, if the expected time allocation is 30 minutes, the reimbursement will be based on 30 minutes whether the provider spends 25 minutes or 35 minutes. Reimbursements shall be dispersed on a monthly basis by EmOpti based on the record of consults completed via the telehealth platform.
